Bennettsville

Mrs. Virginia Ann McDonald Hicks, 77 years old, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Cheraw Convalescent Manor in Cheraw.

Mrs. Virginia was born May 3, 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a faithful member of Smyrna United Methodist Church and worked in the textile industry. Virginia enjoyed working on word puzzle books, watching football games, spending time outside but most of all playing with her grandchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory; son, Donald Albert Freeman of Bennettsville; daughter, Phyllis Price (Earl) of Bennettsville; step-son, Danny Ray Hicks of Bennettsville; step-daughter, Cathy Renee Hicks of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Tiffany Renee Hicks, Danny Ray Hicks, Jr., Joshua Shane Taylor and Courtney Hicks.

Virginia was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Luther Albert Freeman and her 2nd husband, Olin Hicks.
