Amanda Lynn Rush Obituary

Amanda Lynn Rush, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2020 while at her job as the manager of the White Castle restaurant on West Broad Street.

She was a caring and outgoing person, loved and respected by family, friends, and co-workers.  She loved going to concerts and anything that glitters.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Doug and Alkamae Mills, Nillie and Charles Caplinger, and a Ron Rush; uncles, Reece and Ronnie Rush, Dee, Mark, Matthew, Billie Jo, and Burgess Mills; aunts, Maxine Sasorith, Sis Mills, and Del Easter; and great-uncle, Ray Price.

Survived by parents, Betty and Burnie Rush; sisters, Misty Rush and Michelle Horn; boyfriend, Jeffrey Carmony; in-laws, Teddie and John Carmony; sisters-in-law, Holly (James) Robison and Lisa (Scott) Hinson; nieces and nephews, Josh, Mark, and Kimber Horn, Sierra Stockton, Tristann Blankenship, and John Robison; many great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; her entire White Castle family, and many friends.

Visitation 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave.  *Visitors are encouraged to bring a photo or story about Amanda to share.
