Devout Catholic, Maria Madrid at 82 years of age, of Chicago, IL passed away on 10/25/2020. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday October 30, 2020 at St Mary of The Angels Church.. Fr. Hilary will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 2-8 PM Thursday, October 29,2020 at Szykowny Funeral Home . Burial will follow the mass service at Resurrection Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Szykowny Funeral Home.Maria Madrid was born in Mexico on May 3,1938. Maria was married to Jose R. Madrid on February 19,1966; they were married 54 years. Maria is survived by her husband, Jose R. Madrid, children Jose Madrid Jr. (spouse Magdalena Lopez Madrid) and Vanessa Madrid Stetler (spouse Brian Stetler), grandkids Jessica, Roque, Lily, David, Thomas and Emma, her sisters Maria Natividad Vasquez and Sofia Salinas and many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
