<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; Vernon Coy &ldquo;Coke&rdquo; Christensen, age 57, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away October 25, 2020, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center in Roosevelt.<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;He was born November 4, 1962, in Vernal, to Vernon &ldquo;Bun&rdquo; Christensen and Rose Marie Martin.&nbsp; He married Luella Brock, and they later divorced.&nbsp; He married Tracey Chapoose, and they later divorced. &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Coke was an all around handy man and jack-of-all-trades: he could fix a car, worked as a rig hand, was a laborer for the Ute Tribe Housing and various other jobs.&nbsp; He always helped anyone who asked for help and was a right hand man for Benji Murray.&nbsp; Coke was a good cook &ndash; especially bread &ndash; and was always a jokester.&nbsp; He loved being with all of his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.&nbsp; He tried to make it so no one ever needed to worry about him. &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Coke is survived by his children, Shauna Traphagan, of Wyoming; Patrick &amp; Charlie Christensen, Ft. Duchesne; 8 grandchildren; siblings, Jens Christensen, Vernal; Rena (Gab) Chivers, Whiterocks; Pam Christensen, Vernal; and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, and uncles. &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;He was preceded in death by a son, Skyler Drew Christensen; a sister, Francine Arrowchis; and a niece, Cinder Marie Chivers. &nbsp;<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at the Reed Cemetery in Farm Creek.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
