Funeral service for Ira "Ike" Brown of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 31, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, in Eros, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for visitation, Friday, October 30, 2020 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Ira was born January 10, 1947 and passed from this life October 26, 2020 at the age of 73. He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Ola Brown; and his sister, Barbara Brown Peritt. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Angela Brown; daughters, Amanda Brown and Terry Lynch; sons, Kevin Brown and Duane Lucky; brothers, Sammy Brown, Michael Brown, and Johnny Brown; sister, Susan O’Quinn; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Haden Higginbotham, Charles Lynch, Kurt Jones, Daylon Jones, Malcolm Wilson, and Lance Murphrey. Honorary pallbearers are Caden Douglas and Riley Wilson.
