Tamera Dawn Dummann was born on April 29, 1959 to George and Cynthia (Beskow) Dummann, in Watertown, SD. Tammy was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was baptized and later confirmed her faith.

She attended grade school in Summit, SD and then went to Immanuel Lutheran High School in Eau Claire, WI.  Later in life she attended Presentation College to complete online training as a medical transcriptionist.

Tammy married her high school sweetheart, Paul Sieg, on May 7, 1977.  Tammy was always Paul’s number one cheerleader.  They were blessed with the birth of their daughters, Angeline Dawn and Rachel Lavonne.  Tammy was a dedicated and loving Mom right to the end.  She treasured her daughters and embraced every moment with them.

Tammy loved riding motorcycle with Paul where many lifelong friendships were made.  She was always interested in trying a new activity to spend time with those she loved.  Activities included cooking, baking, gardening, making lefse, picture books, stamping, ceramics and stained glass.  Time spent with family was so important to her and she loved holidays and birthday celebrations.  Tammy’s heart grew when her grandchildren were born; Elena Rae, Kate Tamera, Luke Myron and Hanna Jo.  She especially loved her role as Grandma.

Tammy held various jobs throughout the years.  In 1997, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, which progressed and eventually forced her out of the workforce.  Tammy continued to be strong, courageous and positive, finding the good in all things despite her health issues.  Her compassionate husband took care of her in their home until he was no longer able to and she spent the last five years in Avantara nursing home.  She appreciated all her care givers, but was especially grateful for the medical care provided by Dr. Clark Likness over the years.

Tammy is survived by her husband, Paul; her daughters, Angie (Craig) Comes of Appleton, MN, and Rachel (Corey) Johnson of Watertown, SD; her sisters, Sally (Charles) Romberg of Sleepy Eye, MN and Susan (Ralph) Storm of Stratford, IA; her brother, Paul (Melanie) Dummann of Summit, SD; and four grandchildren: Elena and Hanna Comes, and Kate and Luke Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Cynthia Dummann, her father-in-law, Alvin Sieg, and her newborn sister, Dianne Dummann.
