Cynthia Marie O'Connor Accomac, Virginia Obituary

Cynthia Marie O'Connor

Cynthia "Cynt" Marie O’Connor began her earthly journey on May 31, 1976 to the late Ralston O’Connor and Annie Lee Miller in Orlando, Florida. She departed this life and began her heavenly journey on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Shore Health and Rehab Center in Parksley, Virginia. Cynthia was educated in the Accomack County Public School System. “Cynt,” as she was affectionately known, was a reserved and quiet soul unless you messed with her tv, then you would know about it. Her favorite tv shows included: Young and the Restless, As the World Turns, Bold and The Beautiful, and Martin. “Cynt” enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading books. Her favorite thing to eat was Doritos and Reese’s Cups. Though she was quiet, she loved her family very much. “Cynt” had a laugh and a smile that would brighten up any room. Even with her condition she never complained or questioned God. She was always at peace. In fact, she stated “this is the way God made me.” In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mattie Campbell Robinson. She leaves to cherish her memory her stepfather, Charles Miller, Sr. of Atlantic, VA; six sisters, Martha Rhue of Orlando, FL, Maxine Jackson of Winter Garden, FL, Delores Passmore of Flushing, NY, Naomi Campbell of Temperanceville, VA, Iva Cook of Greenbackville, VA, and Sonya (Brian) White of Greenbackville, VA; three brothers, Derron Miller of Atlantic, VA, Kerry Vaught of Winter Garden, FL, and Charles (Angie) Dickerson of Brandywine, MD; special caregivers, Rita Matthews and Vanessa Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
