Yolanda Berenice Calderon Obregon, 80, of Houston, died at 9:35 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2020, at the Methodist Dunn Tower Medical Center in Houston. She was born on May 24, 1940, in Guayaquil, Ecuador to Manuel and Olga Calderon.

Yolanda was a long-life member of her church Iglesia de Dios Ministerial de Jesucristo International and her church community.  Family and friends were Yolanda’s passion and delight. She loved traveling and enjoyed going on trips and cruises with her family. She loved cooking and shopping. She loved to host and entertained and playing Pokeno, she liked to lovingly nurture and care for those that crossed her path. She was an amazing incredible individual, always seeing the best in everyone, with a gifted ability through her loving nature to make friends of everyone she met.

She is survived by daughters, Soraya Seifts of Houston, Eliana Cedeno of Ecuador, and Karina Davis of Houston; sons, Marcos Antonio Montenegro of New York, Paul Efren Montenegro of Spain, and Christian Cedeno of Florida; grandchildren: Valeria Tejeda, Friedrich Seifts, Erika Link, Gunther Seifts, Nathaniel Seifts, Nelsito Cedeno, Marcos Cedeno, Alex Cedeno, Nabila Alsaadi, Ingrid de Regalado, Jairo Montenegro, Taichi Montenegro, Christian Cedeno Jr, Jordan Cedeno, and Kayla Cedeno; great-grandchildren: Alexander Figueroa, Elijah Tejeda, Isabella Tejeda, Roberto de Regalado, Lucas de Regalado, and Oliver Montenegro; sisters: Jane Weissfisch, and Judy Hass.  She is also survived by lots of nephews and nieces, she also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.

The visitation is from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at the Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home. From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, The visitation will be followed by the Memorial service which will be officiated by Pastor Mauricio Agudelo.
