Guido Longo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Guido Longo in North York on Monday October 26, 2020. Guido was born on January 26,1933 in Monte San Biaggio, Italy. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Laura, loving children Sergio, Maria (Terry ), Aldo (Brenda). Guido will forever be cherished by his grandchildren Frances, Laura, Jennifer Grace, William, Nicholas Erica, Andrea and his 8 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Memories of Guido will forever last in our hearts. Visitations will take place at DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario, 416-636-7027) on Wednesday October 28, 2020 from 2-4 P.M. & 6-9 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday October 29, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Roch's Roman Catholic Church (2889 Islington Avenue, Toronto, Ontario). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke, Ontario). We can have public visitations with a maximum of 30 people in attendance per visitation room. We kindly would like to remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects at the funeral home, to always remember to practice social distancing and to avoid all physical contact. Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering. We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the Funeral Home on the morning of the funeral, as we ask everyone else to please meet us at the church. As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the Longo Family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.
