On Sunday, October 25, 2020, Harry J. Church, of Greenwood, Delaware, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 62. He was born on Friday, June 13, 1958, in Milford, Delaware, to Charles (Willow Mae) Church and Susie Mae Rogers. Harry was active in sports. He received his diploma from Milford High School, in Milford, Delaware. He also served in the Army National Guard. Harry loved being around his family, throwing horseshoes, riding his motorcycle and playing spades. He was known to be a hard worker and was a great leader. Harry loved watching the Lakers and his beloved Cowboys. He could go on all day, talking about his teams, even when they didn’t play so well. He also loved music and had a really big collection. Harry was known for his personality, his passion for life and his ability to reach people. We will always remember Mr. Church. Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Miller-Church. Harry is survived by his five children, Jarbaar Waples (LaTonya), John Miller (Kaytra), Cheretha Miller, Adrian Miller and Dylissa Morris; sisters, Katina Rogers and Lillie Showell (Bruce); brothers, Charles Church and Earl White; grandkids, Chyna Miller, La’Kayla Miller, Tileah Miller, Ka’miya Miller, Harold Dixon, Jarbaar Waples, Jr., Cashayah Waples and Love Waples; one great-grand, Kameron Miller; a special friend Marsha Brown; as well as, aunts, uncles, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
