John “Dale” Seabaugh, 81 of Jackson passed away October 25, 2020 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Sept. 12, 1939 to the late Truman and I.V.D. Seabaugh. He and Winnie Ann Schearf were united in marriage on March 16, 1959.
Dale worked as a mechanic for several shoe factories, then for International Hat Company and upon retirement was a Proctor and Gamble employee. He was a member of Harmony Congressional Methodist Church at Marble Hill, MO.
Dale leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Winnie Seabaugh, daughter, Brenda Venable of Clarksville, TN. sons, Randy Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau, and John Seabaugh of Jackson. Other survivors include brothers, T. Gale Seabaugh, Wayne Seabaugh, Milford Seabaugh, and Ron Seabaugh all of Jackson, Lindell Seabaugh of Marble Hill and Don Seabaugh of Leopold. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
Graveside services will be Tuesday Oct. 27, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Scopus with Rev. Jack Leslie officiating.
