It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear Father, Josiah Baxter Gosse, at the Carbonear General Hospital on October 25, 2020 at the age of 76. Predeceased by his parents Augustus Gosse and Mary Grace Gosse; Father in law Donald Roach and Mother in law Emmie Roach. Brother Allan; Niece Joanne Whetren. Leaving to mourn, loving Wife of 53 years Phyllis (Roach); Sons Darryl (Angela) and Don (Loretta) ; Daughter Janice (Jamie Tucker); Brother Lloyd in Bradford, ON; Brother Noah in Port Hope, ON; Brother Augustus (Jane) in Spaniard’s Bay, NL; Sister-in-law Carol in Newmarket, ON; Sister-in-law Dianna in Innisfil, ON. Also leaving to mourn, 5 grand children Emily, Julia, and Mathew Tucker, Olivia and Baxter Gosse, 15 nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation to be held at Lynch’s Funeral Home, 488 Conception Bay Hwy, Spaniard's Bay, Due to Covid 19 there will be a viewing for immediate family only and a few invited guests on Tuesday October 27 from 2 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Memorial service to be held at Holy Redeemer Anglican Church in Spaniard’s Bay on Wednesday October 28 at 2 pm. . No flowers by request.
