On October 25, 2020 Zella Mae Catlett passed away; devoted wife of Luis Gabriel Solarzano; beloved mother of Alicia M. Diaz and her husband Everardo, Thomas Myers and his wife Amanda, and Gabriel Velazquez and his wife Samantha; loving "Grammy" of Jonathan, Katie, Sara, Joshua, Jessie, Maria, Adam, Nikera, Everardo, Zulianna, Dominic, Xaviera, Gabriel, Christina, Noah, Savannah, Jaxon, Julian, Adrianna, Liam, Lilly, London and Lathaniel; dear sister of Michelle Boyd and Michael Boyd; former wife of Jose Luis Velazquez;

A funeral service will be held at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Avenue on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 7:30 pm. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 30th, 2020 from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 pm.

Interment private.
