GARLAND, Roma Clarissa (nee Spurrell) – Passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Glenbrook Lodge, Roma Clarissa Garland (nee Spurrell) age 66 years. Predeceased by baby brother Donald, 1958; father William, 1958; mother Ruby, 1998; brother Bill, 2010; nephew Don, 2016. Leaving to mourn husband Andrew; daughter Heather Spurrell; brothers: Herb (Kelly), Larry (Avis); sisters-in-law: Evelyn Spurrell, Rosaland Squires-Spurrell, Ada Jacobs (Tom); special aunt Susie Regular; uncle Arch Regular. Also leaving to mourn 4 nieces, 6 nephews and their families. Roma was a proud member of the Ladies of the Sabre (Mazol Shrine). Visitation to be held from Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl on Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Memorial service to be held from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donation can be made the Alzheimer’s Society, Mazol Shrine Transportation Fund-530 Topsail Road, St. John's, NL A1E 2C5, Glenbrook Lodge or a charity of ones choice.
