Mrs. Donna Bell Darrow White, 82 of Snow Camp, NC passed away on Sunday October 25, 2020 at her residence. A native of Riverside Co. CA she was the daughter of the late Major General Donald Oliver Darrow and Martha Bell Darrow. Donna was a beloved member of her community and a dedicated member of Saxapahaw United Methodist Church. Donna was born blind and she never let it slow her down. She learned at a young age to overcome diversity with her being blind, but it never stopped her from being an amazing cook, and always putting others needs above her own. Donna will forever be known as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Survivors include her daughters, Katherine Robb and Claudia Patterson and husband Chad; her sons, Jamey White and companion Jill Wick, Claude White and wife Amber, Tony Sanderson and wife Jody, and David Sanderson and wife Terri; her grandchildren, Brandon Robb, Bianca Patterson, Aydin Patterson and Ian White, and many other loving family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles L. White Jr. and her sister, Mary B. “Dickie” Griffin. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday October 28, 2020 at Saxapahaw United Methodist Church. McClure Funeral Service in Graham is assisting the family.
