We are deeply saddened at the untimely passing of James Wood Chandler, aka Jimmy, Jim, on October 19, 2020. He was born in Detroit on July 2, 1946, a graduate of Grosse Pointe High School and earned a degree in business from Arizona State University. He served in the United States Army Reserves. As principle of Chandler and Associates, he established a successful business career as a manufacturer's representative. Jim had a deep passion for golf, cars, hockey, motorcycle racing, skiing, and attending sport events. He was a member of Oakland Hills CC which brought him lifelong friendships. His ability to connect people and seeing the goodness and value in family, friends and acquaintances will be remembered. Jim is survived by his son, Nicholas, Nicholas' mother Kristine, sister Suzie (Chandler) Gauss and husband Cal, a nephew CJ and niece Mandy and cousins. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2021. Location to be determined.
