<p>Danny Joe Williams age 62 (62 years 7 months and 6 days), of Clifton and formerly of Morgan, passed away at the Goodall-Witcher Hospital in Clifton on October 23, 2020.</p> <p>Funeral services are going to be held at 11 A.M., Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Lawson Funeral Home in Meridian. Rev. Dr. John Wheatley will officiate. Burial will be in the Morgan Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 A.M. until service time. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Speer, Joey Speer, David McAdams. James Weir, Hudson McAdams, Jackson Sparkman and Drew Speer.</p> <p>He was the second of two children born to W. A. (Dan) Williams and Anna Mae Williams of Morgan. He attended and graduated from school in Morgan. He worked as a rancher, enjoyed working on cars, and being a small engine mechanic. Danny enjoyed caring for animals of all types. He had a green thumb always taking meticulous care of plants and gardens.</p> <p>His family includes his sister Anna Jo Speer and her husband Charles, Nephews are Charles Michael Speer and his wife Brandy, Joey Daniel Speer and his wife Meredith, Niece is Amanda Deann McAdams and her husband David. He was also loved by his three Great Nephews Andrew Speer, Hudson McAdams, and Jackson Sparkman. His four loving Great Nieces are Macie Speer, Riley McAdams, Lauren Speer, and Lilyanna McAdams.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his mother and father.</p> <p>Arrangements were made by Lawson Funeral Home, Meridian, Texas <a href="tel:254-435-2792">254-435-2792</a>.</p>Obituary
