Charles Franklin Clark, age 61, of Newton, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at his residence. Charles was born April 20, 1959 in Catawba County to the late William Filmore Clark and Nancy Wilson Clark. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Clark. He is survived by: Wife of 27 years: Tonya Caldwell Clark of the home Son: Charles Cody Clark of Mooresville 2 Daughters: Caitlin Ciera Clark of the home, April Philyaw (Cole) of Lincolnton 4 Grandchildren: Logan, Harmony, Julian, and Everleigh Philyaw Mother: Nancy Wilson Clark of Newton 2 Sisters: Darlene Combs of Vale, Rita Cline (Tony) of Maiden A private service was held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Burke Mortuary Chapel in Newton with cousin, Rev. Ronnie W. Parker officiating. Burke Mortuary& Crematory in Newton is serving the Clark family.
