Winona God's angels came and took Janet Ruth Hypes to her home in Heaven on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 She was retired from the Fayette County Board of education. Janet, born on June 5, 1938, was the daughter of the late Dana Aubrey Hypes, Sr. and Helen Virginia Clement Hypes. She was also preceded in death by her sister Doris Bennett and two brothers, Dana Aubrey Jr., and John Hypes. Left to cherish her memory are two brothers: Robert of Eau Claire, Mich and Thomas and wife Linda of Raleigh, NC. Several nieces and and nephews along with great and great-great nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Services will be held on Tuesday May 30, 2017 at the Keeney's Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Winona, at 12:30 PM, where she was a member and attended since she was born, with Pastor Peter Shaffer and Preacher Danny Legg officiating.
