Beth Yvonne Jones, 95, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020. She was born October 18, 1925 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Grover and Rosa (Richards) Cavinder. Beth graduated from Bellevue High School, class of 1945. She married Milburn Jones on January 5, 1946. Beth enjoyed bowling at Spring Lake, M-66, and Marywood Northside. She enjoyed flower gardening and had previously worked for Battle Creek Inn and Sullivan Barn as a Gardener. She volunteered for Lifespan Hospice and was a member of Seventh Day Baptist Church. Beth was very active in her church and loved her church family. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Mesaros, Sharen Robertson, Marjorie (Gary) Paulin, and Marion (Paul) Schleusener; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Janet (James) Needham and Barbara Van Trease; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milburn; brothers, Lisle, Max and Raymond Cavinder; and sisters, Dora Cavinder, June Gardner, Rosemary Haire, Jean Spindlow. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Seventh Day Baptist Church with Pastor Timothy Smothers officiating. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery in Maple Grove, MI. Memorial tributes may be made to Seventh Day Baptist Camp Holston. Arrangements by the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service.
