Mr. Joseph Owens McReynolds, Jr.age 79 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Decendent's Residence in McMinnville, Tennessee. Joseph was born on Thursday, July 10, 1941 in Milan, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Joseph McReynolds Sr. and the late Sophia Bryant Stiles. He was the husband of Dorothy McDowell McReynolds. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was station in Korea. He was a member of Blue Springs Cove Church of Christ. Joseph is survived by his wife Dorothy McReynolds of McMinnville TN, one son, Randy McReynolds and Karla of McMinnville, TN, three daughters, JoDean Wade and husband Tim of Monteagle TN, Donna Bell of Morrison TN, Becky Smith of Morrison TN, Step daughter Janey Bouldin of Bone Cave TN, Steps son Gene Dodson of Manchester TN. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Sister Mildred Hillis of Spencer TN and Brother and sister in law JL and Joyce McReynolds of Spencer TN, Sister and brother in law Earl and Iva Doyle of McMinnville TN. Grandchildren Kian McReynolds, Kayla Bell, Attonda Bell, Corey Smith , AJ Wade and Kory Lytle and Troy (Kendra) Lytle. Great granchildren Jaden Villarreal, Leilynn Smith, Hayden Smith, Trevor Bell, and Braxton Bell. Proceeded in death by parents Joseph O. McReynolds and Sophia Stiles, Sister and Bother in law Sonya and Neil Woods and Brother Samual McReynols and nephew Timothy Lawson son William Bain (Jr), Step daughter Sheila Maples and stepson Billy Dodson. Son in law Lynn Bell, Sister in law Jean Campbell. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 25, 2020, at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home 415 North Chancery St., McMinnville, Tennessee. Funeral Service and Military Rights for Mr. Joseph Owen McReynolds will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 2 PM at the Gardens of Memory Funeral Home in McMinnville TN. Officiated Gary Newby and Jerry Hudson. Interment with Military Rights will be in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery In Smart Station TN.
