Robert S. Jensen
Robert S. Jensen, age 90 passed away May 22, 2017 at his home in Neola. He was born in his parent’s home in Neola on April 5, 1927 to Sanning and Julia (Christensen) Jensen. Robert graduated from Neola High School in 1944 and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II. On October 22, 1950, he was united in marriage to Loretta G. Zednick in Council Bluffs. He enjoyed farming, his livestock and the timber. He also loved making furniture using his Weston Ranch lumber. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Albert and wife, Mary and his sister, Lois Kenealy. Survivors include his wife, Loretta; 5 children, Julie Hansen, Dale (Carol), Joni, Mary (Dave) Kramer and Arlyn (Jennifer); 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. It was Robert’s wish to be cremated and the family will celebrate his life at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the Neola Presbyterian Church and Neola Fire Department.April 2, 1927 - May 22, 201704/02/192705/22/2017
