He is survived by his 3 children Charles Scott, Linda Christine and Gabriel Morgan, as well as 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. My father was a man with a plan. From the young age of 15 he already knew what he wanted in life. It was then he began to cut the logs which would someday become his dream home here in Homer, Alaska. this was in the year of 1952. He as well knew that working with wood would be his life's passion. He started his career in woodworking at 16 at Columbia Showcase in Calif. where he would remain working on and off until he was about 40. He did this while attending high school at North Hollywood High where he was the president of the boy’s social club the " Apollo's ". He was extremely handsome and quite popular among his classmates. He met my mother, Arlene Tugby, while in high school and married her soon after graduation in 1955. His 1st son. Charles Scott was born May 27,1958 and soon after I, Linda Christine was born Dec.15,1959. It was at that time he joined the army and was in the 82nd Air Bourne Division from 1959-1963.where he was honorably discharged. He made 20 military jumps and, in the years, following he made 55 civilian jumps. My dad loved to fish and spent many summers fishing for salmon on his father’s boat the " Donna G." He as well-loved Mexico where he spent many winters there working and just having fun. The people ther loved and respected him very much and he will be severely missed. My father also loved quantum physics. he was obsessed and spent many hours working on prime numbers. His work was of interest to several mathematics professor's across the US. My father built wonderful and fantastic things; he was a magician when it came to using a piece of wood. He knew the grain and the beauty of each piece of wood he used and created works of art in everything he did. I once heard he was one of the top ten master craftsmen in the world, and I totally believe that. When he was 40, he married his 2nd wife, Peggy Jordan and had one son, Gabriel Morgan with her on Feb.23,1977. Soon after he started his own business, Graham Lee Assoc. with his Friend and partner Mr.Lee. he was still doing drawings for them until recently. My dad moved to Homer for good in 1993 where he built a house of grand stature. He was a special person who worked extremely hard to leave a legacy for his children, he did accomplish what he set out to do. I cannot even begin to tell you how much he will be missed. If you were lucky enough to know my dad, thank you for being his friend. If you did not know my dad well you've really missed out knowing one of the funniest and most interesting men ever! R.I.P..DADDY!
