Born December 25, 1930 - Passed -October 23, 2020. Ann Guarino passed away surrounded by her family. A dedicated Operating Room nurse for 45 years, she finished her career as Director of Surgical Services at South Amboy Memorial Hospital before she retired. She then went on to open Essex Interiors in Metuchen, after her retirement. Ann was very active in the community and shared her time and talents selflessly. She was a parishioner of The Cathedral of St Francis of Assisi, as well as member and president of both the Metuchen Womens Club and the Metuchen Gardening Club. She will be painfully missed by her husband Anthony (Buddy) of 69 years; in addition to her sons and their families. Michael, his wife Lani and daughter Roxanne; David and his wife Jayne, along with their son Jonathon and daughter Rebecka; as well as Paul, his wife Anahita, and two children- Nicholas and Sarah. Each shared a special and unique relationship with her. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her, and we know her love remains. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at 10:15 am at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen.
