Dennis Jerry Jones, 61, passed into eternity with Jesus on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.

Dennis was born April 3,1959, in Biloxi, MS to Billie D. Jones and the late George E. Jones. He was a 1977 graduate of St. Martin High School, and a resident of Ocean Springs. Dennis was a hard worker and had a long career in retail. Up until his health began to fail, he was employed at the Neighborhood Walmart in Ocean Springs.

Dennis was preceded in death by his father, George E. Jones; and nephew, Jason Krohn.

He is survived by his daughter Tabetha Jones (Sam); his mother Billie D. Jones; his three sisters, Darlene Krohn (Clayton), Jan Gum (Donald) and Lisa Joiner; his two brothers, Larry Wayne Jones (Vicky), and George S. Jones (Norma); his aunt and uncle; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who all loved him tremendously.

Dennis was funny, kind and had a great love for life. He loved music and TV and had an uncanny ability to name songs and shows that he liked. He like to watch football and was a Saints fan. He also had a great appreciation for good food. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, his Mama and his sisters and brothers along with their families. His daughter Tabetha was the biggest joy of his life. He was a wonderful Daddy.

Dennis always kept his spirits up and had a great sense of humor. He loved making people laugh and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love will live on in our hearts until we are together once again in eternity.

Due to the fragile health of some of his family members, private services will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. in West Jackson County.
