Susanna Rae Hiestand (nee Bortz) A.K.A. Bonnie Susanna was born December 10,1942 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She passed away October 23, 2020 after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her brother Timothy George Bortz and parents Anna Grace Zeiner (nee Dengler) and Rayold George Bortz. Susanna has been a resident of Anne Arundel County since 1970. She was active for several years, delivering meals for “Meals on Wheels”. She belonged to two women’s organizations “The Happy Hookers” and “The Red Hat Society”. Through the years she has enjoyed playing cards, traveling via plane and cruise ships, crafts of all kinds, floral arranging, Mexican train, and movies. Susanna is survived by her sister Victoria, her two children Terri Ann and Donna Lynn. She also has two grandchildren Jessica Devan and Amanda Grace and two great grandchildren Nevaeh Rose and Amelia Grace. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
