Audrey June Lakota was born on May 10, 1965 in Pine Ridge, SD to Harry Lakota and Pearl (Red Breast Bear) Lakota. Audrey made her journey to the Spirit World on October 21, 2020 in Denver, CO. Audrey graduated from Red Cloud High School. She loved to ride horses. She enjoyed being around family and friends. Audrey was a great mother, sister, auntie, and grandma. Audrey is survived by her children, Cherish White Face and Harry Lakota; sisters, Harriet (Chauncy) White Face and Nellie Lakota; and brothers, Maynard (Lila) Cortier and Lester Cortier, Sr. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Lakota and Pearl Lakota; sisters, Jerilyn Fast Wolf and Wanda Lakota; and brothers, Gilbert Lakota, Charles Cortier, and Stacy Cortier.
