Noble Ray Hobbs

Noble Ray Hobbs was born April 29, 1966 to the proud parents of Marshall S. Hobbs, Sr. and Dorothy Marie Speed in Houston, Texas.

Education was a staple for the life of this aspiring young man and he matriculated through the public school system and was a proud graduate of the 1984 class of Green B. Trimble Technical High School, where he was a linebacker for the Mighty Bulldogs football team. He attended Arlington Technical Institute in 1991, where he obtained a Certificate of Completion.

He met and married the Love of His life, the former Julia Demetrice Palmer on September 4, 1993.
Their love of a blended family blossomed as God honored them in 1996 with a double blessing, twin
boys, born to their union, and they continued to rear their children in a Godly home. He was a loving
husband, doting father, even coaching his sons little league football team. He loved people genuinely,
never met a stranger, had an infectious laugh, loved Top Golf, watching movies with his wife, whom
he affectionately called “Jew”, the Jewel of his heart, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and was part of the
Lion of Judah Motorcycle Club of Fort Worth, loved singing and preaching the Gospel. He worked
hard and provided for his family as an Installer for Kelstar in Fort Worth, Texas.

Noble accepted Christ at a young age, growing up as a “PK.” a Preacher’s Kid, he continued to grow in
faith. Under the tutelage of his Father, his love for Christ grew and, he accepted his call to Ministry
and was licensed in 1996 by his father, Presiding Elder, Dr. Marshall S. Hobbs, Sr. at Bethel African
Methodist Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas. This foundation launched an even greater passion to
lead others to Christ. Noble and his family united with Greater Mt. Tabor Christian Center and serve
faithfully in the ministry. In 2003, Noble was ordained and prepared for the Pastoral Ministry at
Greater Mount Tabor Christian Center in Fort Worth, Texas by Founding Pastor E.L. Bowman.

Together with his wife and family, Pastor Hobbs founded New Vision International Ministries in Fort
Worth in 2003. He continued to serve faithfully, aligning with other Generals of the Faith such as
Bishop Reginald D. Jordan, Founding Prelate of Churches In Covenant of Fort Worth, Inc. and the
current Prelate, Bishop Rodney G. Gamble and Unity Fellowship Alliance of Churches under Apostle
Terry Williams of Virginia Beach, VA., where he was elevated to Regional Pastor of the State of Texas
in 2019. Pastor Hobbs continued to be a loving Shepherd impacting the lives of others and bringing
increase to the Kingdom of God until he heard the final call for elevation on October 22, 2020, when he
was given his reward of Eternal Life.

He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, William Gilbert, Sr. and his loving mother, Dorothy
Marie Speed, who earned her wings September 20, 2020

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 27 years, First Lady Julia Hobbs; their children,
Antwaine L. Hobbs (Mary), Ke’Che R. McDonald, Shondrayla K. McDonald, Ra’Vaughn D. Hobbs
and De’Vaughn D. Hobbs; seven grandchildren, Zyranae, Zyion, Xylah, Sadie Rae, Dawn, Raileen and
Jamere; his father, Dr. Marshall S. Hobbs, Sr. (Patricia Greaty P.), his brother, Rev. Marshall D.
Hobbs, Jr.; sisters, LaCrisia Hobbs-Gilbert, Monica Hobbs-Woods (Duane) and Falecia Hobbs; New
Vision International Ministries; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
