Kerry William White

Kerry William White, 56 of Lapeer, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020. He was born in Mt. Clemens, MI on December 11, 1963. Kerry graduated from Oxford High School, class of 1982 and earned his Bachelor's Degrees from Oakland University in Electrical and Engineering Physics. Kerry was a loving husband to Kristin White for 35 years and a loving and devoted father. He was the rock of his family and will be deeply missed. Kerry enjoyed cooking elaborate wine dinners for all of his friends and family, which often paired with playing cards. He loved golfing, trips up north, and attending his granddaughter's dance recitals. Kerry is survived by his wife Kristin White; daughter Ashley (Coh) Yoshizaki; son Douglas White; grandchild Misaki "Misa" Yoshizaki; three sisters, Vicki (Craig) Branch, Leanne White, and Jennifer (Brian) Hamer; also many nieces, nephews, and very dear friends. Kerry was preceded in death by his parents William and Beverly White; brother Brent White. Friends may visit with the White family on Friday, October 30th from 4-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st at 11 AM at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. Kerry will be laid to rest at Stiles Cemetery in Lapeer.
