Kukla, 83, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, October 19, 2020.</p> <p>Private family services and burial will take place at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield, IL. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.</p> <p>Preceded in death by siblings: Juanita, Alice, Ernest, Daniel, Frank and Harold.</p> <p>Survived by daughter, Karen; sons Jason and David; and three grandchildren: Jacob, Scarlett, and Molly.</p> <p>Donald was a U.S. Navy Veteran, who served on the USS Forrestal. In 2000, Donald retired after 25 years as a harness racing owner, trainer and driver. Donald enjoyed his retirement as an accomplished poker player at the Blue Chip Casino.</p> <p> </p>Obituary
