PORTSMOUTH- Kimberly Hope Smallwood, 27, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020. She was born in Portsmouth and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Tom King and Sarah L. King; and her boyfriend, Scott Craven, Jr. Kimberly had a heart as big as the sea, and she would talk to anyone. Her laugh and here spirit were contagious. Her love for animals was apparent, as was her love of cheese. She was generous, kind, and funny. Kimberly was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She was survived by her loving parents, Granville and Laura Smallwood; two sisters, Marybeth Smallwood and her husband, Guadalupe Lopez Rivera and Cory D. Smallwood; three brothers, Jonathan Adam Smallwood, Steven Matthew Smallwood and Nathan Andrew Smallwood; paternal grandparents, Gilbert P. Smallwood and Catherine Smallwood; nieces, Faith Smallwood and Alexus Moscoffian; nephews, Hunter Smallwood, Ayden Smallwood and Bryan Lopez Smallwood; and many other family members and friends. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Sturtevant Funeral Home Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel.
