<p>Scripture:&nbsp; 2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith&rdquo;.&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><strong><span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif;">Ms. Barbara Ann Dawson</span></strong></span> was born to the late Johnnie Jewitt Dawson and Nercile Conerly Dawson. Barbara was born on August 27, 1958, in Pascagoula, MS. &nbsp;She was a wonderful and irreplaceable Mother.&nbsp;</p> <p>On October 19, 2020, after fighting a good fight, and running a difficult race, God opened his arms and called his daughter, Barbara Ann Dawson, home to rest at the age of 62.</p> <p>Barbara received her formal education through the Jackson County School District and graduated from Moss Point High School.&nbsp; She later furthered her education by attending Riley&rsquo;s College where she became a Certified Nursing Assistant.&nbsp;</p> <p>Barbara dedicated her life to helping her family and friends.&nbsp; She was a wonderful homemaker who always opened her home, and especially her kitchen with delicious soulful meals and deserts to anyone who came to visit.&nbsp;</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Nercile Yvette Dawson, Catherine Dawson Odom, Sheila Denise Dawson, Daisy Dawson Brand; and a brother, Johnnie Dawson Jr.</p> <p>She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted family:&nbsp; her children, Christopher Dawson, Zhondrese Dawson, Jaguer Dawson, Dashia Dawson, Eddie Ragsdale, Sheltoria McDonald, Marlicia McDonald, and Jamariay McDonald; two sisters, Helen Dawson and Johnny Elisa Dawson; three aunts, Vernestine Wansley, Lenora Williams, and Dorothy Thomas; six uncles, Samuel Conerly Sr., Alvia Conerly, Earnest Williams, Leo Williams, Samuel Williams, and Wesley Williams Jr.; twenty-six grandchildren,&nbsp;Keyonia Dawson, Kristin Dawson, Daizah McLeod, Jy&rsquo;Kerion Dawson, Asante Dawson, Christopher Dawson Jr., Jy&rsquo;Kailynn Dawson, Cheyenne Moffett, Jai, Jaleel, and Jalani White, Marshaan Danley, Dalanee Roy, Ja&rsquo;liah Blakney, Carsyn Dawson, Chance Dawson, Khannon Dawson, Kamorian Johnson, Logan Washington, Denver Johnson, Joseph Dawson, Lorenzo Frances Jr., Darrien McCann, Jonathon Turner Jr., Lon&rsquo;Dyn Williams, and Bryson Hayes; goddaughters, Alesha McCall, Dalonda Haynes, Tracie Lett, NaQuerria McCann, Naomi Burrows, Mia Burrows, Lauren Moreland, and Shacondala Williams;&nbsp;godsons, Reginald Jackson, Sr., Bryant Perkins, Sr., Nicholas King, and Christopher Thomas; Special friends, Zelda Patrick, Melissa Thompson, Gladys Ducksworth, Tyesha Walker, Elaine Hughes, Cheryl Stubbs, Anita Faulks, Carolyn Johnson, and Antoinette Price;&nbsp;and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends that will forever miss her dearly.</p>

Ms. Barbara Ann Dawson was born to the late Johnnie Jewitt Dawson and Nercile Conerly Dawson. Barbara was born on August 27, 1958, in Pascagoula, MS.  She was a wonderful and irreplaceable Mother.
