Barbara A. Woodson, 78, of Fort Madison, died Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at The Madison in Fort Madison. Born October 28, 1941 in Burlington, Iowa she was the daughter of Miles and Esther (Baldwin) Holbert. She married Roy Woodson on March 3, 1965. He died December 30, 2013. Barbara worked in dietary for Hope Haven for over 20 years. She enjoyed puzzles, crosswords, reading, listening to country music and her time spent with her family. She is survived by her four children; Monica (James) Hollan of Cedar Rapids and Marrianne (Troy) Cutkomp, Michael (Rhonda) Woodson and Mindy (Jason) Easley all of Burlington; ten grandchildren, Myranda Hadley, Dakota Cutkomp, Victoria Burnett, Randi Hunt, Drayden Woodson, Sierra Cutkomp, Devyn Woodson, Tressa Burnett, Eli Easley and Kodi Easley; one great grandchild Kaspian Hunt and two great grandchildren on the way and one sister Joyce Schmitz of Oakdale, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Don Holbert. The funeral service for Mrs. Woodson will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 26th at Lunning Chapel. Pastor Wally Reynolds will officiate. Interment will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.Obituary
