Elizabeth Ann Ranatza Obituary

Elizabeth Ann Gonzales Ranatza passed away peacefully on October 20, 2020. She was 84 years old, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, and well-loved by her family and friends. She was a fierce supporter of her four children and six grandchildren. Elizabeth loved to share her jokes with everyone around her. She loved dancing and animals. Her devotion to her Catholic faith was boundless and she raised her children in the Church. Elizabeth is survived by two sisters; Patricia Slate and Helen Gonzales, two children; Craig Taylor and Pam Conforto, six grandchildren; Steven Taylor, Rachel Taylor, Nicholas Assunto, Hannah Castile, Jazzy Conforto and Vanessa Menard, and six beautiful great grandchildren. She was predeceased in death by her partner; Ronald Manuel, her parents; Louis and Mary Gonzales, her siblings; Louis Gonzales, Jr., Henry Gonzales, Sr., Joseph Gonzales, Leonard Gonzales, Sr., Manuel Gonzales, Mary LaVolpicella and Cecilia Johnson, and sons; Edward Taylor and Paul Taylor. Services will be conducted in New Orleans at a later date.
