Geraldine Fox

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Geraldean Fox are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Bro. Stan Wyant officiating. Mrs. Fox, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at the age of ninety-six. She was a member of Faith Baptist church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, a member of WMU, and Primetimers. She loved her family and was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Troy J. Fox; parents, Olen B. And Verna Winfrey; brothers, Elmer Winfrey, O.B. Winfrey, and Gus Winfrey; great-grandson, Dalton Ligon, daughter-in-law, Elaine Fox, and grandson, Denny Ligon. Survivors include her children, Drusilla Fox Lay and husband Bobby, Dennis Fox, and Ardalia Fox Ligon, and husband Larry; grandchildren, Jason Knight, Shanda Ligon Harris, and husband Jamie, Billy Ligon, Denise Clayton, Kenneth Zavadel, and Bobby Lay; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
