Arthur Gregory Murphy

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Arthur Gregory Murphy announce his passing at St. Joseph’s Hospital which occurred on October 21, 2020.  Born in Saint John, NB, on September 17, 1942, he was a son of the late Louis and Josephine (Daley) Murphy.   Arthur is survived by his son Sean Murphy of Vancouver, BC; his daughters:  Dana (David) Clement of Ontario, Sherri (Dan) Raven of Hampton, NB, and Alicia (Chris) Keleher of Saint John; his step-sons:  Gary (Sherry) Barton and Scott Barton; his step-daughters:  Marina (Pat) Dow, Lorraine (Jim) Parsons, Pamela Barton, Andrea (Mike) Cormier, and Roxanne (Michael) Beck; his brothers:  Gordon (Jeanie) Murphy of Ottawa, ON, Douglas (Mary) Murphy of Fredericton, NB, Bernie (Nancy) Murphy of Rothesay, NB, and Rick (Elzbieta) Murphy of Saint John, NB; his sisters:  Louise (Joseph) O’Connor of Saint John, NB and Marie (Allan) Keith of Saint John, NB; his grandchildren:  Mike, Ryan, Anna, Zach, Mady, and Aria; and his great-grandchild Kieran.  As well as his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his wife Carol (Barton); his brother Peter Murphy; and his sisters-in-law:  Carol Murphy and Judy Murphy.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB E2J 2G3.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday October 25, 2020 from 4-8 PM.    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Redeemer Church on Monday October 26, 2020 at 11:00 AM.  Donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue would be appreciated by the family.  On-line condolences are available at:  www.fundyfuneralhome.com
