Andy Tuan Nguyen

Andy Tuan Nguyen, 49, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away on October 17th, 2020. He passed away in the hospital peacefully with his children by his side after being affected by the ravages of different medical conditions. Andy Tuan Nguyen was born in Trà Vinh, Vietnam to Mother Hoa Kim Phan and Father Luon Van Nguyen on May 6th, 1971. He immigrated to the United States from Vietnam in 1992 with his siblings and parents. He made this unfamiliar country his home in pursuit of a better life. Upon arriving in America, Andy did not have much of an education. However, that did not stop him. With his own abilities, he learned and grew as a person. Andy did not have many hobbies, he occupied himself with his family, friends, and his love for fishing. Especially fishing with his close friends. He was a man of little words, but was an extremely loyal husband, dad, son, brother, and friend to his loved ones. He lived his life to the fullest and fought his hardest. On September 14, 1996, he married his wife Nina Chi Truong and later had three daughters: Amy, Michelle, and Tina. With his own hands, he brought his children up and helped them pursue their education. Now all graduated with high school diplomas, and college degrees in the process. Andy worked his hardest to support his children and wife. Andy Tuan Nguyen will be remembered as a loyal and caring husband, father, brother, and son. Andy Tuan Nguyen is survived by his wife, Nina Chi Truong, daughters: Amy Nguyen, Michelle Nguyen, Tina Nguyen, siblings: Thanh Nguyen, Van Le (Anthony Nguyen & Cindy Nguyen), Kim Nguyen, Tai Tran (Devin Tran), Loan Nguyen (Sandy Huynh, Brian Tran, & Jason Tran), Ngan Nguyen and Hoi Le (Lily Le & Ethan Le) and father: Luon Van Nguyen. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother: Hoa Kim Phan.
