Gayle Marie Sass-Pojeky passed away at her home on October 17, 2020. Ms Sass-Pojeky was preceded in death by her father, David Pojeky, Sr. Ms. Sass-Pojeky is survived by her mother, Victory Pojeky, her siblings; Doug and David Pojeky and Patricia Sass-Pojeky, her sons Joshua David Taylor (wife Christina whom was like a daughter) and John Michael Taylor, her grandchildren Emma Elizabeth, Ryan Olivia Taylor and Lily, her nephews and nieces Addison Jacob and Troy Pojeky, Victory Lynn Groves, and Joseph Wolvin, as well as her lifelong best friends Lisa Berlinger, Dawn Sharro, and her beloved rescue dog, PollyMolly Taylor. Ms Sass-Pojeky was described by her family as one who had a loving heart and cherished her family more than anything. She spent most of her time visiting her son, daughter and her grandchildren and enjoyed her time helping the rescue animals. Her granddaughters, Emma Elizabeth and Ryan Olivia, had a special place in her heart and she adored the time she shared with them. Ryan Olivia made her grandmother laugh endlessly when chasing the chickens. Gayle enjoyed the art of cooking and baking, especially for her son, Josh, whom was her pride and joy. Ms. Sass-Pojeky was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all she knew. Ms. Sass-Pojeky was an extremely devoted grandmother to her granddaughters and will be missed dearly by those that loved her. Visitation will be at Southern Mississippi Funeral Services on Friday, October 23 from 2 pm until 4 pm. The service will be held at the family home on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 3 pm.
