Nancy Carol McCarron

Nancy Carol McCarron age 73 formerly of Little Harbour, passed away on October 20, 2020 in Dartmouth, NS. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late James E. and Vera (Myers) Taylor. Nancy was a longtime resident of Little Harbour. Her working career started at Clairtone in Stellarton and she later went work at Michelin Tire, Granton. When her children were born, she stayed at home for 17 years and was very involved in Weight Watchers and had written the Nancy McCarron Cookbook. Nancy then went to work for Dr. John Hamm and later Dr. Grant Kirk from where she retired. Nancy enjoyed golfing and was a former member at the Glen Lovat Golf Course. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer McCarron, Little Harbour; brother Vernon Taylor (Marion Dort), Stellarton; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Paul and son Jason. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Masks are required and Covid -19 restrictions must be followed. A private family service will be held in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Church Brook Cemetery, Little Harbour.
