Loris, South Carolina Mr. Tony Dale Tyree, age 54, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in Loris, SC. Mr. Tyree was born on November 30, 1965 in Whiteville, NC, to Mrs. Willie Jo Rabon Tyree of Loris, SC and the late Michael Leslie Tyree. Tony worked as a mechanic specializing in amusement rides and was a longtime member of Cherry Hill Baptist Church. He was considered to be a small engine expert by those that knew and loved him and he genuinely enjoyed the challenge of fixing things. He never met a stranger and will be most remembered for his devotion to his family and all who were blessed to have been a part of his life. Survivors including his mother are his wife, Melissa G. Tyree of the home; son, Tony “Dale” Tyree, II and wife, Jade; daughter, Lisa Michelle Tyree Cartrette and husband, Drake; four grandchildren, Derby Cartrette and Danny Cartrette of Loris, SC and Mackenzie Tyree and William Tyree of Conway, SC; brother, Mike Tyree and wife, Meg of Phoenix City, AL; sister, Kimberly Kay Grainger of Loris, SC; and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Cherry Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Jones officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until time of services on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Cherry Hill Baptist Church. The family will also receive friends in the fellowship hall after services.
