Lennie B. Redic entered life on January 20, 1929, to Texanna and Emmanuel Redic in St. Paul, Texas. Lennie was one of thirteen siblings, one being her twin brother. She was the mother of seven children, with three of her sons preceding her. Lennie relocated multiple times, settling in Fort Worth in 1963. She was a domestic worker with a passion for cooking, sewing, and quilting. Lennie was a true caregiver to not only her family, but to others. She was a member of Greater Mt. Tabor Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as an usher, a cook, and for a short time, in the choir.
Lennie preceded her only living brother, Rueben Redic (Hazel). She is cherished in memory by her four children, Sharon, Ronnie, Gary, and Warren. Six of Lennie’s children graciously blessed her with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She peacefully ascended to heaven at home with her loved ones by her side.
