Helen B. Arnould, 84, a longtime resident of Lapeer, passed away Tuesday October 20, 2020. Helen was born at home in Detroit on June 21, 1936 to parents George and Helen (Enright) Lodge. After attending high school, Helen built a home for her family in Lapeer. Helen was a hard worker, most recently working for over 15 years in the fabrics and crafts department of Walmart. She loved reading, throughout her life she was known to read almost a book a day. Helen was a great mother and friend to many. Helen is survived by her children: Clifford Knox of North Branch, Cathy Dimond of Flint, James (Liway) Arnould Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Steven Arnould of North Carolina and Theresa (Andrew) Reed of Columbiaville; grandchildren: Terry, Nathaniel, Frankie, Tara, Emie, Alison, Kyran, Iris, Melanie, Jennifer, Nicole, Bethany, Christina and Nathan; several great and even great-great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her sister Barbara Riehl of Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband James Arnould; her son David Arnould; her siblings: Donald, George, Marcella, Maybelle and Douglas; and by her aforementioned parents. A private Funeral service officiated by The Reverend Ann Norton will be held at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. A private graveside service will take place the following day at St. John’s Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery in Peck, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions go to St. John’s Episcopal Church in Otter Lake.
