Lily P Moore Casa Grande, Arizona Obituary

Lily P Moore

It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, Lily Moore, from Coolidge, AZ. Lily was born in Miami, AZ on January 14, 1937 and passed peacefully in her sleep on October 17, 2020. She was comforted in her transition by her children. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lillian Kay, and her grandson Anthony. She is survived by her daughter, Susan, her son, Bobby, her brother, Joe, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a strong woman with a heart of gold, a smile that could melt butter, and a laugh that was gentle and soothing. She will be remembered for her generosity, compassion, sense of justice, friendliness, hospitality, creativity, sense of adventure, and love of life. Lily loved to paint, to sing, and especially dance. Put on some 50s B-bop or some bouncy Mexican ranchero music and she would jump out of her seat and start dancing. She loved meeting people and making new friends. She was the beloved matriarch of our family, and she set the standard for us when it came to our morals, ethics, values, and virtues. She will be missed and adored beyond measure. The Earth was blessed with her for eighty-three years. May she rest in peace and glory in the arms of our Heavenly Father, forever.
