Ms.Betty J. McKinney, age 82, of Ocean Springs, Ms died peacefully on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Singing River Rehab/Nursing Home in Pascagoula MS. Ms McKinney was born February 20, 1938 in New York. She was a lifelong resident of the coast and was of Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her two sons; Robert Kiernan Jr. and Michael W. Kiernan, her granddaughter Shea Kiernan along with her parents Robert and Bertha Hollar. Survivors include her daughters, Terri (Mike) Cannette Of Latimer, Linda(Terry) Sawyer of New York, Kathy Olsen of Colorado. She has 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Her daughter, Terri, would like to extend her gratitude and thanks to nurse Lara Usher at Singing River rehab/nursing home for taking such wonderful care of her mother. She went above and beyond her duties with updates, FaceTime calls, playing her harmonica and holding her mother's hand since her daughter could not physically be there due to regulations of Covid. Ms.McKinney's desire was to be cremated and have a private placement at a later date.
