<p>John Richard Taylor, 76, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 19, 2020, at The Springs of Batesville, Arkansas.</p> <p><br /> He was born in Batesville, Arkansas July 3, 1944, to the late Lee and Evelyn Harris Taylor also of Batesville.</p> <p><br /> John was as friendly as he could be, but at the same time he knew how to hold his own. The workers at the Coastal Service appreciated him, as he was always there for them. He was a likable guy, with a very distinct walk, that will be missed by many.</p> <p><br /> John is survived by his son, Roger Taylor from Seattle Washington; daughter, Joy Coon of Louisiana; sister, Baby Doll Cook of Batesville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.</p> <p><br /> Graveside Service will be Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville, Arkansas at 10:00 am.</p> <p><br /> Covid-19 precautions will be in place.</p>

Obituary

John Richard Taylor, 76, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 19, 2020, at The Springs of Batesville, Arkansas.


He was born in Batesville, Arkansas July 3, 1944, to the late Lee and Evelyn Harris Taylor also of Batesville.


John was as friendly as he could be, but at the same time he knew how to hold his own. The workers at the Coastal Service appreciated him, as he was always there for them. He was a likable guy, with a very distinct walk, that will be missed by many.


John is survived by his son, Roger Taylor from Seattle Washington; daughter, Joy Coon of Louisiana; sister, Baby Doll Cook of Batesville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters.


Graveside Service will be Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville, Arkansas at 10:00 am.


Covid-19 precautions will be in place.
