Funeral service for Crystal Anne Cupples of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00am, Friday, October 23, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA. With Pastor Michael Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for visitation, 9am until time of service at the funeral home. Crystal was born July 26, 1981 and passed from this life October 19, 2020 at the age of 39 after a 19-month battle with breast cancer. Although we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering with all the terrible thing this disease brings, our hearts are shattered, and our souls ache so deeply. Crystal was a wonderful mother, always so dedicated to her daughter, she was talented in any activity she did, she was a talented dancer which she had a special love and passion for. She was so giving, fiery, loving, and funny. She had the best laugh, the kind that makes you laugh along with her. She was strong and fought hard to the end. She graduated from St. Fredrick High School and attended ULM, she was also a member of First West Baptist Church. Crystal is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Vernon M. and Ilse Campbell; paternal grandparents, James and Maddie Cupples; aunts, Annemarie Tillman and Linda Dear; uncle, Vernon L. Campbell. Those left to cherish her memories includes her daughter, Anna Margaret Chandler; sister, Brandy Cupples Cascio; parents, George A. and Margaret Cupples; aunts, Barbara Williams and Diane McMullen; uncles, Jimmy Cupples, William Dear, and Eric Williams; also survived by nephews, Jace and Hagen Cascio; numerous cousins and a host of extended family and friends. Pallbearers serving include Marvin Wilhite, Tony Diaz, Daren Fuller, Pat Reagan, James Mann, and Cole Putthoff. Honorary pallbearers include Barbara and Eric Williams.
