Amos Rochelle Barber, age 78, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at his home in San Antonio. He was born on April 1, 1942 in Refugio, TX, to parents, Robert M. and Hilda “Jo” Hooper Barber. Amos proudly served in the U.S. Army and dedicated his life to the oilfield industry. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family. Amos is survived by his wife of 47 years, Waltraud “Mary” Barber; children, Annette Shaw of Bainbridge Island, WA, Erika Armstrong of San Antonio, and Robert Barber of San Antonio; grandchildren, Kelley Shaw, Adam Shaw, Wendy Shaw, Kaitlyn Barber, and Isabella Armstrong; brother, David Barber of Austwell, TX; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
