He was born September 3, 1941, he was raised by his loving parents, Lester Jess Johnson and Emma Madelyn Handy. &nbsp;He retired from Kennecott after 47 &frac12; years and from Cult Construction after 32 years, he had a very strong work ethic.</p> <p>&nbsp;Tayne&rsquo;s main interests were his children and family.</p> <p>He is survived by his&nbsp;son, Ricky (Tayne Richard) Johnson Jr (Debra); daughter, Lisha Ann Pyne (Brent); grandchildren, Kris Johnson (Misty), Tyler Johnson, Aubrie Johnson, Daniel Frandsen (Megan), Ashley Best (Jason), Kristopher Pyne (Laura) and Cameron Pyne; great grandchild, Jerzee Starr Johnson (the love of his life) and one on the way;&nbsp;brothers,&nbsp;Jesse Johnson&nbsp;Jr. (Claudia) and James Johnson (Beverly).</p> <p>He is preceded in death by parents; Lester Jess Johnson and Emma Madelyn Haney Johnson; sisters,&nbsp;Mildred &ldquo;Millie&rdquo; Baldwin, EmmaMay Wagner and Charlotte Johnson;&nbsp;daughter,&nbsp; Lisa Wallberg (2012); and son,&nbsp;Daniel Johnson (1968).</p> <p>He was a father figure and grandpa to many including Daryl Reeves (Ken) and family.</p> <p>A celebration of Tayne&rsquo;s life will be on Oct 25, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Peel Funeral Home located at 8525 West 2700 South. Tayne passed away on Oct 18, 2020. He was born September 3, 1941, he was raised by his loving parents, Lester Jess Johnson and Emma Madelyn Handy.  He retired from Kennecott after 47 ½ years and from Cult Construction after 32 years, he had a very strong work ethic.

 Tayne’s main interests were his children and family.

He is survived by his son, Ricky (Tayne Richard) Johnson Jr (Debra); daughter, Lisha Ann Pyne (Brent); grandchildren, Kris Johnson (Misty), Tyler Johnson, Aubrie Johnson, Daniel Frandsen (Megan), Ashley Best (Jason), Kristopher Pyne (Laura) and Cameron Pyne; great grandchild, Jerzee Starr Johnson (the love of his life) and one on the way; brothers, Jesse Johnson Jr. (Claudia) and James Johnson (Beverly).
