First Lady, Linda Robinson passed away peacefully October 11th 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. Linda (Faye) Robinson was born on October 9th, 1950 to Robert and Verna Dorsey in Pineville, Louisiana. Linda was united in Holy Matrimony to Curlee Lawrence Robinson Sr., on December 29th, 1967. Mrs. Robinson moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1970 with her husband, Curlee Lawrence Robinson. Linda was known to many as “Big Mama” or Mother Robinson. She was a loyal member of the Anchorage School District PTA. Linda also received two volunteer rewards due to her amazing work in the community throughout the State of Alaska. Linda volunteered at Williwaw Elementary School for 15 years as a “Lunch Lady”. She also was one of the Presidents of Williwaw PTA and a Noon Duty. Mrs. Robinson was a giver and always helped the homeless and people in the community. Linda joined the Church of God in Christ in 1970, when she moved to Alaska. She was known for her amazing voice, incredible food, and most of all her relationship with GOD. In 2000, Linda became a member of the House of Prayer for All Nations Church and has been an active member for the last 20 years. Under the leadership of Bishop Curlee L. Robinson Sr., she held different positions inside the church organization. Some of her positions were: National First Lady, National Secretary Cook, Usher, Sunday School Teacher, Outreach Leader and Missionary. Wherever First Lady Robinson hands were she was doing God’s work. Linda Robinson was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Verna Dorsey, sister Jackie Richards, sister Pearlie Dorsey, and brother Kelvin Dorsey. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Curlee L. Robinson Sr., her children: daughter Sharee Robinson; son Culree Robinson Jr. (Holly Robinson); 6 grandchildren Jordan , Iyanah, Curlee IV, Ja’ Marcus, Aleela, Lanea, Ja’Bez; sister Merdana Murphy; brother George Roland. and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends. Linda Robinson’s homegoing celebration will occur on October 24, 2020 at 12:30 pm at New Hope Baptist Church in Anchorage, Alaska.
