Dale loved playing baseball, diving, football and especially the 49ers, fishing and hunting.  He was always supportive and encouraging to his teammates.  His competitive nature always kept him striving to be the best he could be regardless of whether it was on the sports fields, swimming pool, target range or even in his front yard throwing knives.

Dale was an employee at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a pipe fitter in Shop 99 and was enrolled in the apprentice program that he was looking forward to completing.

He was preceded in death by the grandmother that he adored, Shirley Ferrin of Visalia, CA.  He even had her closing salutation to him tattooed on his arm, “bye bye for now”, And his father Deno McCracken of Missouri.
